You Know You're A Mom When-sDaze

You know you're a mom when...
  • You wear Thomas the Train stickers out in public with pride even though your child is no where in sight.
  • You find toys in your bed at night and don't even think twice about how they got there.
  • You would have sworn before you had children that the words: "please don't lick the floor" would never have come out of your mouth. Never say never, right?
  • You will do anything to take away your child's pain, whether it's a bonk on the head or a cold that lingers on and on.
  • Not a morning goes by that you don't feel like you could sleep for another hour or two longer.
  • You think there is a strong possibility that the people that create Yo Gabba Gabba are high on drugs and wonder if you are sending your child the right message by airing it in your home, but still find yourself recording it and even enjoying it.
  • You delight in the joy on their face as they listen to a story being told.

Oh,k the things that I say sometimes....I stop and shake my head.

My boys LOVE Gabba Gabba. It's crazy, though.

I also thought "please don't drink the bath water" and "please don't play with your poop" would never come out of my mouth. I was wrong.

Yo Gabba Gabba is very strange! But he seems to really love those crazy strange creatures. Sorry I didn't tell you that you had those Thomas the Train stickers on you at dinner! Haha! : )

I miss Eureka's Castle!
And now with the grandson, I find myself almost watching the Wiggles even when he's not here. Yo Gabba Gabba? He loves it, I'm not sold.

And I still want to make life pain-free for my adult daughter, sigh.

What does it say about me that I don't have kids and I've uttered the phrase "please don't like the floor?"

I had this cashier tell me I had a sticker on my coat one time in a very foul sarcastic way. I just stared at her, I like those stickers. They make me feel like I'm doing a really good job!

You know I've blogged about Yo Gabba Gabba too...they're all sorts of weird. But better than Tella Tubbies or whatever they were called!!

Are you sure you don't want to take over You Know You're a Mom Wed? You are still doing it every week!
